Celebrate Leta's 14th Birthday: Fundraise for Autistic Wings Dance Company!

What’s a birthday without a few birthday games? For Leta’s 14th birthday, join Autistic Wings Dance Company in a special fundraising competition! We're aiming to raise $4,000 to support the incredible dancers of Autistic Wings. This money will go to our General Funds Campaign, allowing us to pay the overhead for the studio, and even hire a couple of teachers. (And maybe give us a jumpstart on our Capital Campaign so we can buy a building of our own.)

Date: August 1st to August 17th. (With Leta’s birthday in the middle!)

Who: Anyone who wants to celebrate Leta’s birthday by forming a team to participate!

Here's how you can make a difference:

• Become a Fundraiser Team Captain: First, set your target fundraising goal. Then grab your friends, family, podcast audience or social media followers and start your own fundraising campaign. We'll provide you with a personalized team fundraising website and a ton of fun fundraising activity ideas to help you reach your goal.

• Friendly Competition: This is a chance to show your support in a fun, competitive way, with the real winners being the dancers of Autistic Wings Dance Company! But, what’s a little competition without bragging rights?

•  Tell Your Friends, Family, Coworkers, The Man on the Street, and Anyone Else You Know

$4,000 sounds like a lot of money, but if you break it down, 20 teams raising just $200 will get us to that goal. And, who knows? Maybe we will surpass that goal. Maybe, we could even get to $14,000 to celebrate Leta’s 14th!

“But, how do I get my friends excited about this?” Glad you asked. We have a few suggestions…

Social Media Posts: We have some social media posts ready for you to share with your friends and family! While you know Autistic Wings has a rule of not taking photos of our amazing little ones, we don’t have the same rule with the birthday girl! We will have plenty of birthday themed posts, along with tap dance videos. (Featuring Leta’s new shoes, of course.)
