Our Soaring Supporters Help Keep Our Dancers Flying On Their Wings

Bringing Dance to the Autisic Community

Many of our dancers have never been allowed to experience a “true” dance class. They are often regulated to being “the autistic dancer” They are often told to sit to the side and watch, or forced into “Creative Movement” class where they never learn dance.

Autistic Wings’ approach to teaching actual dance to our dancers in an enviroment designed for them is both game changing and expensive. Upper level dance classes cost $171 a month per dancer. Private lessons for those who need a little bit more one-on-one work cost $684 a month.

Our studio is 100% partial and full scholarship. Not a single dancer pays the full cost of tuition. Not a single dancer is ever turned away because they can’t afford dance classes. By joining the Soaring Supports you help us make sure we never have to turn a dancer away.

The Ribbon Guardian ($20)

Your $20 monthly gift provides a brand-new pack of ribbons. Ribbons seem to find their way into every single class at Autistic Wings. Every one of our dancers love them. For those with sensory needs, a fresh pack of ribbons is often the key to a successful and joyful class.

  • Your name will be listed in our performance programs for the entire season.

  • You'll receive a special thank-you shoutout on our social media channels as part of our group of supporters.

Level 3: The Soar ($290)

Our dancers pay between $6-13 a hour for class (depending on how many classes they are taking). But, it costs Autistic Wings $290 an hour to provide our innovative dance classes. Your gift of $290 helps pay for one hour of class at Autistic Wings

  • All of the benefits from The Glide level.

  • Your name will be featured in a larger, dedicated section of our performance programs.

  • Receive a special thank-you gift, an Autistic Wings Dance Company Keychain

Level 4: The Grand Pas de Deux ($500)

A gift at this level provides a full year of dance for a child with low support needs.

  • All of the benefits from The Soar level.

  • You will receive a dedicated social media shoutout across both Autistic Wings' official channels and on Leta's podcast, "Leta's Tap Styles (And My Autistic Life)." This feature will be shared on a platform that reaches a passionate audience interested in topics like ableism in dance, autism, and other forms of neurodiversity, amplifying your support for our shared values.

  • Receive an invitation for two to our exclusive "Supporter Appreciation Event," where you can meet with our leadership and hear directly from our dance families.

Level 5: The Soaring Star ($1,256)

This is a truly transformative gift that pays for one month of a Level 3 ASD High Supports Dancer’s private classes.

All of the benefits from The Grand Pas de Deux level.

  • A special mention of your name will be included in our performance opening remarks.

  • Receive a special behind-the-scenes video or photo album from a class or rehearsal, giving you a private look at the magic your support creates.

  • You will receive a more prominent, personalized thank-you in our annual report.

When you join our individual donors program, you are doing more than just giving us money. You become a partner in our mission, helping to provide a joyful space where our dancers can thrive. We have created several giving levels to celebrate your commitment to inclusion.

Level 2: The Glide ($55)

Your gift helps a dancer gracefully glide through a full month of classes.

  • All of the benefits from The Feather level.

  • Receive a "Proud Supporter of Autistic Wings" sticker to show your support.

  • Your name will be highlighted on the "Our Supporters" page of our website.
