Around the national tap circuit, they know exactly who she is. Industry legends don’t give directions by name; they just tell people: "Go find the girl in the boots and the cowgirl hat."

Leta Rundell is an elite tap dancer, a visionary, and a true Red Dirt Country cowgirl at heart. Trained and mentored since age eight by the heavyweights of the tap world—including Chloe and Maud Arnold, Gisele Silva, and members of the Syncopated Ladies—Leta’s artistry is rooted in elite rhythm, precision, and history.

At just 12 years old, after traditional studios failed to understand her autism or respect her boundaries, Leta took matters into her own hands and founded Autistic Wings Dance Company. Now 14, she has built a national sanctuary free from forced compliance, where neurodivergent artists are celebrated for their authentic voices.

Blending country grit with world-class tap training and a powerful media presence, Leta is leading a cultural revolution in the dance industry. Her ultimate dream? To bring her tap shoes to a live Aaron Watson show and dance on stage with him (just as soon as she stops fangirling long enough to count the beats).
