Autistic Wings is an artistic sanctuary founded by 15-year-old autistic tap dancer Leta Rundell so autistic dancers always have a place to belong and soar.
When Faith—co-founder of our Golden Chrysalises performance company—was stuck in the dugout due to a last-minute injury, Leta did what she’s been taught to do her entire life: she improvised.
She threw on her favorite Aaron Watson track, laced up her custom SoDanca tap shoes, laid down her well-loved Dance Daze Dance Board Jet Setter board (IYKYK), and gave us this amazing walkup choreographed right in the dirt! ⚾️💥

Some say this video was inspired by @TheSavBananas, but Leta swears it’s strictly @TheTexasTailgaters inspired—even if her swing isn’t quite at Kyle Martin level yet. 😉 (In Shea’s defense, Leta had only 4 months to go from "never held a bat" to hitting for the fences!)
